I saw the sun split the sky I woke up and I turned around Your body was lying by my side Cold to the touch, face to the ground I never asked you why you died You never said you'd be proud I never told you to lie Now I'm all alone with this awful sound And they are all just flesh on bones Their hollow eyes call out my name Your blood on their hands, my name on the stone Far to close to extinguish the flame

I Know 02:55
She called me late One Friday night Said she was finally happy But she knew that she had to go I said "Yeah, I know" I wrote about it In a song a few weeks ago And I'm not growin up I'm just growing old I'm not trying to be mean I'm just getting bold And all my friends Are having kids But I'll never be An uncle to them I'm the one Who disappeared I'm that story That they hear once a year And I'm not growing up I'm just growing old I'm not trying to be mean I'm just getting bold I know I know I know I know

Again 04:58
I'm pissing on graves again I'm wonderin' about the worth of the dead I'm drinking that gin again I'm tasting the pines Changing my name again Don't know who I want to be Lying through my teeth again It's not you, it's me Chained to this rock again My eyes trace the sky Devil on my back again The eagles pass me by I'm throwing stones again Yeah, I'm beating my breast Your glass house is locked again I'm exiled with the rest The echoes are coming back Pulling me into the past I ask you why I left Then I wonder why I asked Because you're back You're back You're back You're back You're back

Gale 03:07
I'll hold the sun for you Till you return And I'll sing this song for you As the lanterns burn Sometimes you gotta walk through the dark Sometime you gotta work with a broken heart Sometimes the only way of knowing Is watching it all fall apart Sometimes you gotta walk through the dark And I've had the faithless few Drag me down Yes I've been drowning too Without a soul around Sometimes you gotta walk through the dark Sometime you gotta work with a broken heart Sometimes the only way of knowing Is watching it all fall apart Sometimes you gotta walk through the dark Day is breaking, night's veil is wearing thin The path is growing bright, and hope is kicking in And when the sun goes down, you'll know where you've been Cut your teeth against the night again Sometimes you gotta walk through the dark Sometime you gotta work with a broken heart Sometimes the only way of knowing Is watching it all fall apart Sometimes you gotta walk through the dark

about

"PEW" was written and co-produced by Kyle Glenn. The lyrics and acoustic demos of these songs were created in the darker months towards the end of 2015.

"PEW" was engineered, mixed, and co-produced by Steven Sarmiento at "The Foxden" in early 2016. Various sessions were had to complete the recordings that were sent to Jacob Montague for mastering in September of 2016.

Kyle Glenn is an american singer/songwriter from Portland OR, who relocated to San Francisco in the spring of 2013 after the passes cleared.

The work is NEVER done and the songs will evolve over the course of decades, These are the purest form of the tracks as they were in that timeline. We hope you enjoy what is a captured moment in this never ending journey of the expression of thoughts through sound.

Welcome to the Part at the End of the World.
